No real evidence to show lasers work, so they are not part of my equine physiotherapy practice

Having worked in professional sports for years there are lots of gadgets and equipment which clubs will spend ££££££££s on. Alter G treadmills are hundreds of thousands of pounds and are a great investment for rehabilitating players but did any of these medical departments have a laser machine? No If lasers aren't used in elite sports medicine (because lack of evidence and perceived benefit) then how can I justify the use in my equine physiotherapy sessions- I can't.

Tendon and ligament injuries are best managed with appropriate rest and a graduated loading program (as advised by vet and physio). I feel that the exercises and rehabilitation that can be done often by owners are much more beneficial (and cheaper) than using laser or other machines.
